I actually bought one of these in 1984, shortly after they first came out. I sold it 9 months later and bought a Mac 512 in order to be able to use the LaserWriter printer to do something referred to then as Desktop Publishing.

"Spike" spent the summer sleeping in the gardens and rolling in the grass. The Fall term starts in a little over a week and he isn't the least concerned.
Back from FITC in Toronto for the last week and a bit before the end of the term. An interesting range of presentations this year. Adobe's takeover of Macromedia was evident in more than just the signage. Most interesting, from my perspective, was the number of presenters who had something to say about the takeover. Not everyone was entirely positive.
The students had fun though, and that is one of the reasons that we attend.
